What song do you sing or hummmm, while you are taking the 20 seconds to wash your hands? It can be fun to rotate through many suggestions that people have worked up for that 20 seconds of handwashing sessions.
Common sense, common knowledge but not always commonly done — Cough or sneeze into your elbows and avoid touching your face, mouth, eyes, or nose. If you must touch your face, make certain your hands are clean. And definitely wash your hands after you are done.
I sprayed down my mattress this morning after I got my sheets off the bed to wash. Also, make sure you spray down hard surfaces and frequently touched objects like shopping cart handles, doorknobs, remotes, tables, and counters.
Remember: Preventive measures are your first line of defense to staying well!
